Tema: Linux en PlayStation 3

Hola amigos, porfin me he decido a instalar linux en mi flamante PS3 recientemente adquirida, la distribuicion escogida por mi fue Yellow Dog 5.0.2 que es de las mas famosas y conocidas, y tiene el apoyo de sony...

La cuestion es que llevo ya 3 dias intentando configurar el wifi de la consola bajo linux cosa que no he podido logra aun, si alguien sabe como se hace, o sabe de algun manual decente, pues se agradeceria mucho.

Resumiendo

Tanto WPA-PSK como WPA2 no estan actualmente soportados en YDL para PS3.
Las claves mejor introducirlas en hexadecimal precedidas de "0x".
La encriptación de 256-bit no esta testeada por completo y es posible que falle.

This is to allow access to a access point that has encryption (WEP or WPA) enabled. For this process you will need to get the encryption key from the management settings of your access point. These steps are written to be followed from setting up the wireless connection screen.
A WEP 64-bit key will look like this: 4a 9f 1f 98 f3
A WEP 128-bit key will look like this: 4b bc 8e 20 e7 1d 24 e4 7f 5d 88 d0 2e
A WPA-PSK and WPA2 will be selected by the user and vary depending on model
As of current WPA-PSK and WPA2 are not supported on the PS3, we are working on getting them supported

WEP 64-bit and 128-bit
For "Key:" enter "0x" plus your hex key so for 64-bit it would look like "0x4a9f1f98f3" and for 128-bit it would look like "0x4bbc8e20e71d24e47f5d88d02e" (NOTE: We have not tested with 256-bit encryption as it is still rare)

Click "Ok"

Dime si te a servido de algo

La pega es que no uso encriptacion de ningun tipo, solo uso filtro mac, de la conficion bajo linux he podido sacar una dirrecion mac para permitir el acceso des del router, pero no estoy seguro ke sea la correcta, es mas creo ke no lo es, asi que lo que estoy intentando sacar la dirrecion mac, pero suponia que seria el mismo numero que obtengo del S.O del PS3.
