Tema: Configuracion de modem?

Pegunta sencilla: El modem-router de telefonica lo podria usar directamente como wi-fi sin poner ningun ordenador conectado a el mediante el cable cat6 (ethernet)? Esta pregunta se me viene a la cabeza cuando e descubierto que en mi nueva casa la clavija de telefono convencional esta bastante lejos del oredenador y queria conectar el router inalambricamente a este ordenador.

mmmmmmmm...no soy muy ducho en modems pero como no tengas un router específicamente inhalámbrico...porque que yo sepa lso de telefónica son normalillos. lo que tendrías que hacer es comprar un emisor/receptor wifi y se lo conectas al router y a tomar por $*!...bueno,lo configuras y tal, yo lo hice. me compré uno en adm y me lo vienieron a instalar ellos, pero bueno, ya se sabe como está el servicio técnico...

Como te dicen ay arriba, tendras que poner el router wifi en la toma rj11, y ... luego, comprar una nic en tu pc para que reciba.
