Tema: Gears of War freezes! processor driver update problem

Mmmh. Game freezes after a few minutes play. It just freezes, no crash, and i have to restart computer.
My system: Amd athlon 64 5600+, 4gb RAM, geforce 8600 1024mb, windows xp x64...

Everytime i reinstall or try to play the game appears a message telling me to update my processor driver up to 1.3.2.16 version. Ok. The DVD itself contains an update, but it updates to version 1.3.2.00...
I figured out that means 1.3.2.0016, but i can´t just see the proper version of my driver.
Actually, it doesn´t exist, version 1.3.2.16 i mean. The latest is 1.3.2.0053.
Ok, i did it, i installed latest version from amd website.
But, every time i run the game, the message appears, and offers me to upgrade from the update in the dvd, asking me for the 1.3.2.16 version!
Riiight. I can just ignore it.
But, the game just freezes after a few minutes playing. No matter resolution quality, i've also done the fix in the pagedpoolsize (ffffffff), installed the title update, installed windows live 1.2...
Continues on freezing.

Any idea? Thanks guys.

I suggest that you change your thread to spanish language. We do not give support to foreign languages...so far...
It seems that you are having a driver issue with your processor. In your case I would first uninstall your Gears of War and reinstall it, forgetting about the driver provided in the DVD.

But...please, aqui sólo se habla castellano

Cambia tu mensaje al castellano y te podremos ayudar mejor...estoy muy vago para traducir hoy...

Si, perdona Kenshiro, es la costumbre...
El tema es que GEars of war se cuelga, bloqueando el sistema, tengo que reiniciar el ordenador.
He visto diversidad de soluciones para crashes, pero nada de freezings. He hecho el tema del update con el title update, con el windows live 1.2, y he cambiado el pagedpoolsize a ffffffff, pero nada de esto parece tener nada que ver con mi problema, pues continua.
Cuando inicias el juego, siempre me pide que actualice el driver de mi procesador, aunque tengo instalada la ultima version (1.3.2.0053)
Puedo ignorar el mensaje, pero juego unos pocos minutos y el juego se congela.

Alguna idea? He reinstalado y nada, estoy actualizando TODO y suprimiendo todos los antispywares y demas...he leido que pueden presentar problemas de compatibilidad...

no anda esta pija .. yo tengo un pc de uktima generacion .. y aunque instalo el driver que me pide.. no lo puedo arrancar.. es para maquinas mas viejitas se ve,.. xD

no se si será por eso pero intenta instalar el dual core optimizer de AMD. Parece ser que es precisamente para problemas con juegos en sistemas dual-core.

MMM, nose de que puede ser, de todas maneras igual algo esta tocando el juego que te congela el ordenador
