me e comprado este bloque , y queria saber que pieza viene instalada dentro , ya que el bloque no me trae ninguna mas , un saludo

el nickel se cae a trozos y solo pasa en los de ek.

Es mas que cierto que muchos usuarios han sufrido eso y que hasta en las pruebas que ha hecho ek, se les ha despegado nickel.

Esto no pasaba antes, pero ahora si, y ya se ha avisado en su dia y se sigue avisando, lo que no se es porque pillas la version que es full nickel.

En extreme systems había un post bastante extenso sobre el problema. Al final EK, mientras investiga y lo soluciona, va a dar 2 años de garantía contra la corrosión. Un poco tarde, después de marear la perdíz. Yo estoy esperando que coolmod tenga de acetal. Tu mira si puedes cambiarlo.

Yo tengo el Acetal+Niquel y todo perfecto.
Por cierto que temperaturas tienes?
Yo con OC a 4.0 HT off tengo 38/39º dependiendo del nucleo y jugando se ponen a 59/60. Vcore 1.25
Con 4.0 HT On en reposo igual y jugando a 72º. Vcore 1.30
Ha salido calentito en jodio micro.

La semana que viene me tendria que llegar una nueva revision del EK Supreme HF Full Niquel. Según me cuentan en Traxtore el nombre viene con la coletilla (EN) y vendria a solucionar los problemas de corrosión.

No he encontrado ningún articulo al respecto. ¿Sabeis algo?

Los que vienen marcados con "EN" ya lo solucionan.

De todas maneras, en los anteriores creo que dependía del líquido utilizado.
Si utilizabas uno ya mezclado bueno, estilo Feser o Primochill, se supone que ibas bien...

EK’s uniquely designed products with clear acrylic material tops increase visibility to the user’s eye giving better visual access from a maintenance point of view, as well as a stunning visual appearance, compared to the competition that mainly use acetal (POM) or metal tops. After much testing and research, EK has come to the conclusion that it offers its customers the finest and the most expensive nickel plating technique available in the industry – Electroless Nickel Plating (EN). Electroless nickel plating (EN) is an auto-catalytic chemical technique used to deposit a layer of nickel alloy on a solid workpiece, such as metal or plastic. The process relies on the presence of a reducing agent, which reacts with the metal ions to deposit metal. Due to increased corrosion resistance, the surface of nickel plating is not as shiny as standard Nickel Electroplating and has little darker tone. Throughout the years EN plating may become less bright.


EN Nickel products and availability
Not all currently available EK nickel products will be offered in EN nickel versions. First EN nickel plated products are already manufactured and available for purchase. EN plated EK products will be additionally marked with a silver sticker located in front of the box:


Prices of EN nickel plated EK products will be higher than “old” nickel plated products – in average from 3€ for the CPU blocks to about 10€ for the EK-FC590 GTX blocks.


“Old” Nickel plated blocks status
After further tests, only small number of received RMA returns because of corrosion and feedbacks from end-users, Resellers and Distributors, we have decided to continue selling “old” nickel plated blocks, while suggesting use of only market tested coolants with anticorrosion additive.

Some EK products nickel plated with “old” technology will be discontinued after the sale of current stocks, while we will continue to sell only EN nickel plated options.

All “old” and new EN nickel plated products remain with full 24 month RMA warranty on material, machining and nickel corrosion.
