Hola a todos,
Nunca hice un OC y he estado informandome pero no acabo de quitar el miedo...
a ver si me podeis ayudar diciendome que es lo que tengo que cambiar para mejorar el rendimiento.
Os pongo informacion a ver si me podeis hechar un cable

No has indicado que gráfica tienes, ni que micro tienes, ni a que velocidad van tus memos! Sin estos datos es imposible aconsejarte, pues no sabemos ni que placa exactamente tienes, si es de un equipo ya montado, o si es una placa de algún ensamblador conocido tipo asus, msi, gigabyte...
Con el programa everest, o incluso con el cpu-z, te puedes informar de todo esto si no lo sabes. Así podremos darte más detalles.
De todos modos, antes de hacer overclock, tienes que tener en cuenta que la temperatura de los componentes va a subir, por tanto no puedes mantener la refrigeración por disipadores de stock que trae el procesador. Así como la ventilación de la caja, que ha de ser óptima, creando un canal de aire de delante hacia atrás.
Aunque a un equipo tan viejo no se le pueda sacar el brillo del oro, almenos hacer que rinda un poco más y brille como el acero pulido no es mala idea . Además, lo que aprendas con este equipo te valdrá para el futuro.

Veo que la bios de tu placa base no está actualizada y para ocear es mejor meter la última versión 1008.004 aunque sea beta, que es de finales de 2005. Puedes utilizar la herramienta ez flash que lleva tu bios, pues ya tienes la versión 1004, la mínima recomendada para utilizar la herramienta actualizadora de bios sin ningún problema(además es más sencillo de hacer, mira el manual).
En principio has de saber que tu procesador lleva el multiplicador bloqueado en x12(200MHz fsb x12= 2400MHz), pues no es un fx, ni un black edition de los nuevos. Por tanto solo podremos jugar con el fsb, subiendolo y jugando con las memorias ram, para subirlas y contener su latencia para ganar rendimiento. De todos modos veo que tu placa no tiene la propiedad de bloquear los buses del puerto agp... esto limitará bastante el overclock que le hagas, seguramente ese sea tu mayor problema.
Así que por primeras, habrá que poner todos los parámetros que puedas en la bios en modo manual, indicando a que frecuéncia, latencia y voltaje ha de funcionar cada componente. Esto te lo puedo indicar, pero no he encontrado ninguna captura de tu bios, sobretodo del apartado advanced, que es donde suele ir todo lo del fsb, vcore, timmings de la memoria, velocidad de la memoria y demás.
De momento te diré que has de vigilar las temperaturas de todo lo que puedas, aunque sea con el método "digital" (con el dedo encima :lol: ). Esto te permitirá no quemar ningún componente y estar seguro de que aunque te equivoques en una configuración, como mucho se va a volver inestable el pc y con un clear cmos todo vuelve a la normalidad. Recurda que tu procesador no debe pasar los 65º en ningún momento! Ni tus discos duros los 50º. Ni tus memorias los 50º-60º(depende si van disipadas o no), pero aquí no se suele tener sensores, así que una vez estén calientes de verdad sabrás que te estás pasando... así que cuidadín! El chipset tampoco ha de subir de 60º, así que vigila todo bien. Supongo que la gráfica vendrá bien refrigerada, por ser mucho más moderna que el resto del equipo, de todos modos, te conviene vigilar su temperatura, antes y después de hacerle overclock.
La metodología para hacer overclock por fsb ha de ser metódica. Has de saber que parámetros modificar para que se mantenga estable el pc. No puedes subir los MHz de golpe, porque seguramente el pc se vuelva inestable y tengas que hacer un clear cmos y volver a configurar toda la bios. Así que si puedes hacer unas capturas de los apartados de la bios, podré decirte que parámetros modificar, si tiene apartado de voltajes, de frecuéncias, etc... Sobretodo me interesan los apartados donde indica el fsb, la velocidad de las memorias y el de las temperaturas.
Recuerda que para hacer overclock hay que deshabilitar el cool'n quiet y el smart fan control. Así no variará a su gusto el pc las frecuéncias, ni los voltajes, ni las velocidades de los ventis, cosa que puede ser peligrosa, o crear inestabilidades en el pc.
Si tienes todas las temperaturas bajo control y no muy altas a pleno rendimiento, se podrá apretar el pc, de otro modo no es conveniente hacer overclock. Más aún viendo que tu gráfica tira mucho más que tu procesador y si no le haces un buen overclock continuará siendo así. Y eso que tu gráfica se puede ocear todavía :twisted: !!
