    Overclocking AMD x2 5000+ EE 65nm "Brisbane"

    ¡Hola!

    Tengo mi cafetera con este micro que para algunas cosas se me queda un poco corto... Como no tengo dinero para cambiar el ordenador pues no me queda otra que dale un poco mas de marcha al micro, asi que no me queda otra que hacerle overclock.

    Bien, el micro en STOCK funciona @ 2.6Ghz y ahora mismo lo tengo @ 2.793Mhz (215FSB*13Multi, voltaje de STOCK)

    La cosa es que así funciona bien, no parece tener cuelgues ni anomalías raras pero a la que SUBO 1 MHZ, UNO SOLO ya va inestable... pero a lo bestia, que a la mínima que le metes caña se cuelga. He probado subiendo un poco los voltajes y nada, sigue igual. Las temperaturas tampoco son, el micro no pasa de 57º en full (disipador AC Freezer pro 64) y el chipset, al menos el disipador esta frío... tiene un ventilador sunbeamtech tirandole aire fresco directamente...

    ¿Alguien sabe que puedo hacer? ¿como compruebo si realmente la estabilidad del sistema es o no buena?

    Aqui esta la base:

    CPU AMD Athlon(tm) 64 X2 Dual Core Processor 5000+, 2600 MHz

    Placa base Abit AN-M2HD (nvidia nforce 630a/7050PV)

    RAM:

    x1 "Melco" 2Gb DDR2 @ 667 SDRAM
    x2 GEIL DDR2 @ 667 SDRAM

    Ambos con las latencias 4-4-4-12 @ 667Mhz

    SO: Windows server 2008 R2 x64

    ¿Que puedo hacer

    Yo creo que a la velocidad que lo tienes ahora no es realmente estable, intenta pasarle un test como el orthos durante unas horas y seguramente también te encuentres que es inestable a esa velocidad.
    También deberías poner la velocidad de las memorias en 266 en lugar de 333 como seguramente lo tengas ahora, puede que sea eso.
    Por curiosidad, ¿que placa base tienes?

    La placa es una ABIT AN-M2HD, creo que lo he puesto en el primer topic.

    ¿Como funciona el Orthos ese?

    ¿Lo dejo toda la noche a ver que pasa?

    ¿También dice fallos de la RAM?

    Le estoy pasando el Orthos, lleva media hora dándole caña y no hay ningún fallo ni nada
    ¿Cuanto rato tengo que dejarlo?

    ¿Como se si el HT y la velocidad de las memorias/pci o lo que sea no se han visto alteradas por el overclock?

    Paro el orthos... lleva casi 4h y media y no ha dado ningun fallo.
